H. Scott Johnson, Jr.
Mr. Johnson is the General Counsel of PCT Government Relations where is he responsible for all legal and regulatory affairs. Previously, he was in private practice at both Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia law firms.
Mr. Johnson has extensive experience in corporate and real estate transactions, business formation and organization, employment law and government contracts. His practice has included counseling and advising businesses at all stages of the growth cycle on a broad range of matters including corporate formation and organization, mergers and acquisitions, business contracts, employment agreements, employment policies, joint ventures, and corporate transactions. Mr. Johnson has served as "outside General Counsel" for several small and mid-sized companies in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
In addition to his corporate representation, Mr. Johnson maintained an active litigation practice. He has represented clients in federal and state courts in a variety of civil cases including complex commercial actions, business disputes and employment law matters.
Mr. Johnson received a B.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School. He is a member of the Virginia and District of Columbia bars.
Mr. Johnson is a member of the Virginia Public Broadcasting Board (Gubernatorial appointment), and the Alexandria Budget and Fiscal Affairs Advisory Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Alexandria-Olympic Boys and Girls Club and the George Washington University Law Alumni Association.
